Our Wine Makers... Piet Kleinhans.
Piet started working as General Manager in May 2021. He qualified as a Winemaker at Elsenburg Agriculture College and gained valuable experience over the years, locally and abroad, not only in winemaking, but also in viticulture.
Born and growing up in Swellendam (Western Cape), made agriculture an easy choice for a career. “If I have to make a career decision again, I’ll most definitely would choose agriculture again.”
Piet takes care of the whole farm, with the 3 main branches being the vineyards, cattle and oats. Piet is married to Anel and they have 2 boys, Dieter and Wico. As a family they enjoy living on the farm and also doing things together.
